Dark Toned Stirring or Serving Spoon

This hand carved spoon, made from silver birch, is the perfect addition to your kitchen and tableware collection as it is ideal for cooking or serving.

Whilst most of my utensils are baked to alter the tone of the wood, I baked this spoon for a little longer than usual. As a result, this usually pale silver birch has taken on a much darker tone.

To care for your spoon, clean with warm soapy water. Never allow your spoon to soak, as this will cause the wood's grain to raise, damaging the finish of the spoon.

Finished with raw linseed oil.
